About Us

The Australian Tertiary Education Network on Disability (ATEND) is the peak professional body for Disability Practitioners in the Tertiary Education and Training sector.

The ATEND National Committee is made up of a representative of the Training & University Sector within each state.

ATEND organises the Pathways Conference that is held bi-annually.

 

The ATEND Logo

Understanding the ATEND logo: The green and yellow ribbons represent Australia; the blue ribbon represents disability; the crimson represents the legal disability standards, discrimination as a trap; the crimson ribbon is cutting the red tape.

The logo was adopted after a competition was run at the 2006 Pathways.
